Scope of works
To dismantle all redundant steelwork and pipework from the Carrington site that has been identified for disposal and replacement with new.
Key considerations
To ensure the smooth transition from redundant to replacement steel and pipework, the PP O’Connor team worked to a demanding timetable to ensure minimum disruption was caused to the productivity of the plant.

Scope of works
Decommissioning and deconstruction of redundant buildings, excavation of concrete slabs, and on site crushing of materials for re-use on site.
Project innovation
PP O’Connor was the first company to crush materials on site at this facility. This has resulted in 99% of materials being crushed in situ for re-use within the site, contributing considerably to the facilities carbon footprint.
